“So beautiful…so delicious…absolutely astonishing”, were the words which came from the audiences who was present at the Indonesian stand to see and listen to Indonesian dances as well as to taste Indonesian snack.

At the Utazas Fair, which was held on March 3rd until 7th , 2011, the Indonesian Embassy participated on the said event. On the occasion , the Indonesian Embassy presented traditional dances namely Pendet (Bali), Yapong (Jakarta), Jaipongan (West Java) and Topeng (West and Central Java) as well as Indonesian snack such as Lapis legit (rice flour cake) and Martabak ( beef filling pastry). The dances were performed by Indonesian communities and alumni of Dharmasiswa scholarship recipients.

To add and to enliven the occasion, Indonesian traditional music called the Arumba and song were performed at the center stage of the fair. Songs and music called Ayo Mama , Kicir-kicir and Surilang Njot-njotan were performed and received a clamorous applause from the audiences, in fact they asked for more of music but unfortunately due to time budgeting, the request from the audience could not be fulfilled. The Arumba music were played by Indonesian ladies diplomats together with the Indonesian Women Association in Budapest.

On the last day of the fair, Mako TV, an internet TV took shots of Jaipongan dance and were aired on March 11th 2011.

In the objective promotion of culture, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia pick one of the prestigious State University of Indonesia, University of Padjadjaran to held this event.
Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, together with several travel agents from Indonesia and Hungary participated in the largest Tourism Fair in Budapest, Hungary.
Last August 17th, 2014 Indonesia Celebrate their Independence Day and closing the celebration with Diplomatic Reception on the next September 10th.
The 3rd Indonesian presidential election was held on 9 July 2014[2] and matched former general Prabowo Subianto against the governor of Jakarta, Joko Widodo; incumbent president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was constitutionally barred from seeking a third term in office.[3][4] On 22 July the General Elections Commission announced a Widodo′s victory. He and his vice-president, Jusuf Kalla, are expected to be sworn-in on 20 October 2014, for a 5-year term.
