Indonesian Embassy celebrates the 66th Indonesian Independence Day.

On August 17th 2011 the Indonesian Embassy in Budapest celebrates the 66th Indonesian Independence Day attended by Ambassador and staffs of the Indonesian Embassy, Indonesian Ladies Association in Budapest, Indonesian communities residing in Budapest and other regions in Hungary and Friends of Indonesia.

At the celebration, the Indonesian flag, Merah Putih, was raised by Pasukan Pengibar Benders (Flag Raising Troops) of the embassy and simultaneously was sung the Indonesia National anthem "Indonesia Raya" by the participants of the ceremony.

In a series of the celebration of the Indonesian Independence Day, beforehand was held various sports activities such as bowling, table tennis (ping pong), card and various children games as well as picnic in Zanka,Balaton attended by all the Indonesian communities in Budapest.

As the height of the celebration, the Indonesian Embassy in Budapest will carry into effect a diplomatic reception on September 14th, 2011 in Budapest.

Last August 17th, 2014 Indonesia Celebrate their Independence Day and closing the celebration with Diplomatic Reception on the next September 10th.
