Budapest Trade Expo 2011

To promote Indonesian products in Hungary, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Budapest in collaboration with ITPC Budapest, Local Government of DKI Jakarta, Indonesian entrepreneurs, and Hungarian importers of Indonesian products had participated in the annual Budapest International Fair/Budapesti Nemzetkozi Vasar (BNV) on 19 – 23 October 2011 in Hungexpo Fairground, Budapest.

Indonesia pavilion is uniquely designed to represent the cultural nuances of Indonesia. The pavilion displayed Indonesian products such as Silver, Shell & Gemstone jewelery products, Batik Bags, shell and wooden home decorations & accessories, batik scarves, leather fashion accessories, wooden handicrafts, batik clothes, teak furnitures, antique bronze & stones statues, lamp decorations, and bio sandals products. Indonesia pavilion was officially opened by the Charge d’affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia representing the Ambassador who was visiting Indonesia for a business mission..

In addition to utilizing this exhibition as a venue for promoting Indonesian products, Indonesia′s participation in the BNV-115 was also used to promote Indonesian culture and tourism by featuring Indonesian traditional dances and distributing Indonesia travel planners in Magyar Language, for free.
