The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has decided to provide tourist visa exemption facilities for 45 countries, including Hungary, which shall be effective from June 10, 2015 (based on the President Regulation Number 69 Year 2015 on Visit Visa Exemption).
The Hungarian citizen who holds a valid Hungarian passport and wishes to travel to Indonesia for tourism purposes is eligible to travel to Indonesia without visa.
This visa exemption is granted for 30 days of stay, non-extendable and cannot be converted into another type of visa.
It should be noted that the visa exemption can only be applied at certain immigration checkpoints, as follows:
International Airport:
1. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta;
2. Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali;
3. Kualanamu International Airport, Medan;
4. Juanda International Airport, Surabaya;
5. Hang Nadim International Airport, Batam;
Seaport:
6. Sri Bintan Pura Seaport, Tanjung Pinang;
7. Batam Center Seaport, Batam;
8. Sekupang Seaport, Batam;
9. Tanjung Uban Seaport, Tanjung Uban;
