INDONESIA-HUNGARY RECTORS FORUM
BUDAPEST, 10 JUNE 2013


    In the framework of the Indonesian and Hungarian bilateral relations, the Hungarian Rectors Conference and the Indonesian Rectors Forum in association with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Budapest, the Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Indonesia (APTISI), and the Indonesian-Hungarian Joint Business Council (IHJBC) will organize the First Indonesia-Hungary Rectors Forum on 10th June 2013 at the Budapest Business School, 1055 Budapest, Markó utca 29-31, from 10.00-14.00.

    Indonesian delegation consisting of 35 rectors and representatives of different universities from Indonesia and the rectors and representatives of universities in Hungary will have an exchange of view on strengthening the educational cooperation on higher education, science, technology and innovation.
    It is expected that the Forum formally will be opened by the Minister for Human Resources of Hungary. During that time, the Chairman of the Indonesian Rectors Forum and the Chairman of the Hungarian Rectors Conference will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Higher Education, Science and Research.

    This important initiative will strengthen the bilateral relation of Indonesia-Hungary in the field of education, by bringing university community from both sides to have partnership in academic activities.

The Indonesian government has ensured that people in the age group of over 18 years will receive the COVID-19 vaccine to expand vaccination coverage to 70 percent across Indonesia.
